We decided to stuff our last few weeks in the US with as much fun as we could manage. We got free kids tickets to the circus from the library so we got some tickets for Glenn and I and made a fun night of it. We got tickets for the opening night of the circus which means we got half priced tickets for really great seats. We were on the 7th row and had a great view of everything. The boys were in heaven. Tate was throwing up the night before so we weren't sure if we would have to cancel last minute. I took him to the Dr. that morning just to see if there was anything more to be worried about as a long term stomach bug was not something we had the time to deal with less than 2 weeks away from moving and just a few days away from our Disneyland trip. She said we needed to avoid certain foods for a week or so that might be irritating his stomach, but otherwise she didn't think it was anything more to be worried about, which was a huge relief! We just took it easy all day and he was feeling okay by the time we left for the circus that evening. We had watched some youtube videos about the circus so the kids each had some acts that they were super excited to see.
What darling boys I have. I wish they had let us bring in our good camera, but alas, we had to make do with a few blurry iphone photos. Here's Finny's face watching his favorite part. The motorcycles in the steel sphere. They fit 8 guys on motorcycles in there driving around at once. It was amazing and Finn just loved it. He was so bummed when it was done and asked for the rest of the show if they were going to come out again. He was also less than thrilled that he wouldn't be able to ride one of those motorcycles in the ball. Not really an audience participation type of show.
Tate was really excited to see the wild cats. It was pretty cool, I have to admit. There was a HUGE male lion, several lionesses and tigers. And this little man made them dance and climb on things and jump over each other. It was crazy. Tate loved every second.
Finn's other favorite was the "guys on swings" or trapeze. Tate loved the parades where they brought out all the different acts and sang songs. He sang the circus theme song all day the next day.
I think we went to a circus when I was a little girl but it was pretty amazing as an adult, especially being able to watch my little guys faces light up. I'm so glad we made it happen even though it was kind of crazy that day with Tate being sick.

haha Finny's face watching the motorcycles is priceless. Pure joy. And that pic of Tate! Are we serious?! He's looking so handsome and grown up. Please kiss them both and ask them to stay little. haha I love you. What a fun excursion before leaving this country. You and Glenn are such fun parents...as per usual. :)
