About Us
Glenn and I have been married for ten spectacular years. We recently moved to Saudi Arabia, which is obviously very far away from both of our families. We keep this blog updated so we can stay close to our friends and fam and to keep a record of our family adventures. Glenn is enjoying his new job and I am loving being a stay-at-home mom. We have two sweet little boys, Tate and Finn and two darling twin baby girls, Taryn and Kenna. We love them to pieces. We also love date nights, good movies, good food, and being with each other.

Solution

The most convenient place in our house for Tate's high chair is next to our table, which means it's in our main living area and over carpet. I've been looking for a drop cloth to go under his chair since he's starting to eat more on his own which means bigger messes. I couldn't find any that I liked. They all had obnoxious pictures which would be fine if it didn't have to live in my front room. I couldn't find any that were just a plain pattern. I wanted it to be sort of cute so it wouldn't be an eye sore in my dining room. So I made one. I found iron-on vinyl, a cute floral fabric, and made some bias tape to match. No, it is not perfect. And no, I do not want my mom inspecting it closely for mistakes. But it goes on the ground and catches Tate's food, and I sure like it.

Nice, but you need to go bigger. This will be great for things that he drops, but what about things that he throws?

Agreed. And he has already started throwing.

I hope these will be additions to your Etsy site - I would buy one!

I guess you need to go bigger since Tato has an arm. And what makes you think I would be inspecting! I think it looks cute.

True, it should be bigger. I couldn't find any fabric that I liked in larger size and didn't want a seam in the middle...so this is what I ended up with. Still love it!

super good idea!! I have been thinking about what to do with Jaxson, because we only have carpet too.
